Club Professional - John Horvath has been the Club Professional at Sorrento Golf Club since March 2004. After completing his PGA Training at Riversdale as the 2000 Australian Trainee of the Year, John spent the next three years as the Assistant Professional and competing in tournaments. Lessons with John are available on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

John also plays on a regular basis with the members on Wednesday's.  

Teaching Professional - Torie O'Connor came to Sorrento Golf Club in October, after teaching for five years at the Melbourne Golf Acadmey. Her friendly personality and knowledge have seen her have great success with her students. Torie has competed at a high level having represented Australia and New South Wales and has played in the Australian Open and Australian Ladies Masters many times. Torie is available for lessons on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Her Clinics are very popular and are held on Friday at 2pm and Sunday at 10am. Clinic numbers are limited to 8 people and cost $15. Bookings are essential. 

Junior Members - Junior clinics are held during each school holiday period. Clinics run for one hour each day and cover the basics of grip, stance and swing and all short game strokes. Practice Games and Competitions will also be introduced to the juniors. Children are separated into groups of 6-9 year olds and 10-13 year olds. Older children starting the game may still participate and we have more advanced classes for juniors with a handicap and playing competition.

At Sorrento we carry a large range of men's and ladies apparel including Tommy Hilgifer, Calvin Klien, Daily, Glenmuir, Birdee, Foot-Joy and Didricksons.

Our Golf Equipment Range includes Taylor-Made, Callaway, Titleist, Cobra, Cleveland and Odyssey. All clubs can be custom fitted and we have many demonstration clubs to assist with this process. Our recommended clubs can be tested on course before purchasing.

Information for Visiting Golfers - The Professional shop can arrange your next golf outing on the challenging and beautiful surrounds of the Sorrento Golf Club as well as information on other local courses. We can assist with Nearest the Pins, Longest Drives, Scoring and Prizes at competitive prices. Pre Game address for your group is available.
