Reciprocal Clubs
Members wishing to visit a Club with reciprocal rights must obtain a letter of introduction from the General Manager before making the visit. As a matter of courtesy, members should contact the host Club before the visit to introduce themselves and to arrange tee times, if necessary.
Accommodation reservations at Elanora must also be made through the General Manager of the Sorrento Golf Club.

Members seeking to avail themselves of privileges at any of these clubs should obtain a letter of introduction from the General Managers office at Sorrento before travel.
The reciprocal arrangement with these clubs specifically excludes any privilege for Members and Associates who reside in the same state as the reciprocal Club.

Sorrento Golf Club Members may arrange a game of golf at Moonah Links by calling the Pro Shop on 5988 2000. Both Courses Subject to availability, Upon arrival, Members must produce their membershipcard. Special reduced green fee of $50 per member applys. guests permitted by arrangement $50 mid week and $70 on weekends and public holidays. |
St Mellion International UK The club has arranged special privileges at the St Mellion International in Cornwall UK which features fine accommodations and two championship courses including a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course. Members receive a special discounted rate for accommodation and when staying for 2 nights or more, become entitled to complimentary golf. St Mellion is part of the Crown Golf Group, which has a large number of golf properties across the UK. This arrangement also entitles members to discounted play at Trevose, Bovey Castle, Hampton Court Palace and Pyrford Golf Clubs. Nirwana Golf Club Bali (arrangements under review Aprils 2013 check with management for status update) Nirwana is a Greg Norman Designed Course thought to be the best in Indonesia. Sorrento members are welcome to play at the members guest green fee rate of $USD 60 mid week and $USD75 weekends a reduction of $USD100 off their normal rates. A discount of 25% off the stand rate also applies to a maximum of 3 guests of Sorrento members, cart and caddy fees also apply. In return we offer their (200 only) members visiting Sorrento off peak time at the members guest rate of $45 AUD. |
Nirwana Golf Club Bali Cont. Sorrento members wishing to avail themselves to these arrangemetns should initially make contact with the Sorrento general manager who will provide the means of communication between Bali and Sorrento. In Bali members will need a letter of introduction and their membership cards. Naturally some conditions and restrictions apply. The Club has an arrangement to assist the Bowls Club with greens maintenance, inreturn the Bowls Club has granted the Golf Club Affiliate member status, which allows Golf Club members the opportunity to use the Bowls Club facilities. The following guidelines we hope will be of assistance to members.
Outdoor Bowls Season September through to March.
Notice Board All these arrangements are subject to variation and should be read in conjunction with the Bowls Club members black board outside the front of the clubhouse. Special note should be made of green closures and direction of play.
Arrangements for Social Play (Roll ups) Dress - neat casual dress is acceptable. Flat-soled shoes are essential. Fees - there are no fees applicable for social play. Greens - Generally the small green is available for social play at all times. Care must be taken not to cause inconvenience or disturbance to players on other greens taking part in competition play.
Equipment Lawn bowls may be loaned for use on the premises without charge.
Groups and Guests One green is generally be available Monday to Saturday from 2pm for groups of up to 30. Where groups exceed ten, 72 hours notice to the Bowls Club House Manager is required. Members may introduce a guest to play with them visitors, however a green fee may apply.
Arrangements for more formal play (Intra Club) Dress neat casual dress is acceptable. Flat-soled shoes are essential. Fees a $5 fee is payable to participate in intra club play (this fee is also payable by Bowls Club Members). Standard of play Players in intra club play must be passed by Bowls Club coaches.
Coaching Free coaching is available to Golf Club Members on Sundays at 10.30 am or at other times by prior arrangement.
Clubhouse and Social facilities Club facilities are available for use in conjunction with bowls activities. Bowls club Bar operating hours from 4.30 pm til close each day except Sunday. The club facilities are available for hire for private functions by contacting the Bowls Club House Manager.
